DPX previously had one default option for check expiration – set at 90 days. To accommodate business and regulatory needs, we now allow that expiry to be either 90 or 180 days.
Changing your DPX checking account payment expiry dates to use the 180 day needs to be done by DPX Customer Support. Contact us if you have questions or want assistance adjusting the expiry date.
Note: the “Void after” date that appears on DPX check payments follows the Federal guidelines for checks. This does not, however ensure bank acceptance. By law, banks are required to honor checks for up to six months. After that, bank acceptance policies may vary.
