Does voiding an eCheck make it non-payable?

Voiding an eCheck is not the same as a stop-payment issued by your financial institution.

What does voiding an eCheck do?

Voiding an eCheck serves two purposes:

1. If the recipient hasn't retrieved the check yet, voiding stops the payee from being able to print the check.
2. The check may no longer be verified using our verification system.

If you do not have the option to void a check that you wish to prevent from being transacted that check has already been accessed.  It is highly recommended that you issue a stop-payment with your financial institution.
