“Guaranteed” means if you received a qualifying eCheck and select the Instant Funds service, the funds cannot be taken away once they are in your bank account. If the check ends up bouncing, you don't have to worry.
Whether a traditional paper check that is sent in the mail or an eCheck, every check has the risk of being returned (i.e. bounced, NSF). One common reason for returned checks is insufficient funds in the senders' checking account. When a check is returned, the recipient does not receive the funds and now must request and receive another check from the sender to get paid. Check returns can be a real hassle and delay how quickly you can access your funds.
*Majority of transactions will be funded within 30 minutes, but it could take up to 2 business days. The funds availability timing for the initial transaction will generally be indicative of future transactions for the account you set up. A small fee will be charged to the eCheck recipient for each eDeposit. Check clearing provided by our partner bank.
