Now that you’re able to send eChecks through your QuickBooks Online account, how can you verify that they’ve processed correctly? We have two simple ways.

Option 1: The middleware connection between eChecks and your QuickBooks Online account is smart enough to send information back to QuickBooks Online to let you know your eChecks have been processed. This is done by updating the QuickBooks Online Memo field with information about the eCheck (see the example below). Although processing time varies throughout the day, you can expect to see this confirmation memo within 10-15 minutes of submitting the Bill Payment request.
Option 2: You can also verify your eCheck payments by logging in to your eChecks account and navigating to Send > Account Activity > Checks for the specific Checking Account you’ve linked to QuickBooks Online. Once in this section, you can see the list of checks that have been sent. If you want additional details on an individual item, you can click the check number to display full details.
